Some of their learnings include counselling on diet and lifestyle modification for those with medical conditions, prevention of common illnesses, and prevention for those who are genetically pre-disposed to certain medical conditions.
These Health Volunteers learned to use basic health tools such as a sphygmomanometer, glucometer, and others. Each of these volunteers were required to visit the houses of patients and monitor their conditions. The opportunity for better health was also presented to other household members.
This batch 11 of Health Volunteers underwent 12 weeks of training under the supervision of DOH/PITAHC Certified Naturopath Practitioners. Participants from NCR, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Baguio and Cavite attended trainings inside The GlobaLeader Inc. facilities and also on the ground training in their respective areas of assignments.
A very anticipated highlight was their tour inside the Bauertek Farmaceutical Technologies Facility at Guiginto, Bulacan. Inside, they witnessed the live Broadcast of Kaibigan sa Kalusugan, followed by an immersive tour inside the Micro-Bio Lab, Chem Lab, and the R&D Lab. They also witnessed the actual production of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
