Bauertek Farmaceutical Technologies Corp. (BFTC), led by General Manager Richard Nixon Gomez, was invited to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 1 for the ongoing Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week in Ilocos Norte. DOST proudly highlighted BFTC’s gold award win from the Innovation Summit held on May 2024 in Krakow, Poland.
Among the attendees were DOST Secretary Renato Solidum, MMSU President Shirley Agrupis, PGC Executive Director Cynthia Saloma, Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Manotoc, Laoag Mayor Michael Keon, and several other esteemed mayors.
On the second day of the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week, DOST held a press conference. The discussion focused on the Philippines’ triple gold win in the Pharmaceutical Category at the International Invention and Innovation Summit in Krakow, Poland a month prior. The Philippines was among 25 countries that participated in the competition.
The Black Garlic project, an initiative of Mariano Marcos State University supported by DOST, has been developed into a nutraceutical product with the help of BauerTek Farmaceutical Technologies. This project is now ready for large-scale production.

Tinalakay ang pagkapanalo ng Pilipinas ng Gold Medal sa Pharmaceutical Category noong nakalipas na International Invention and Innovation Summit sa Krakow, Poland. Kabilang ang Pilipinas sa 25 bansa na lumahok sa competition.
Ang Black Garlic ay proyekto ng Mariano Marcos State University na sinuportahan ng DOST. Ito ay pinagbuti hanggang maging isang nutraceutical product sa tulong ng Bauertek Farmaceutical Technologies. Ito ay nakahanda na sa pangmalawakang produksiyon.
